The Bentzin Focal Primar, also known as the Klapp Primar, is a German folding plate camera produced by Curt Bentzin of Görlitz in the early twentieth century. It was offered as a mid-tier folding plate camera aimed at amateur and serious enthusiast photographers of its era.

With only a single UK auction hammer result on file, pricing data for the Focal Primar is thin: the one tracked sale in September 2023 sells for £81 at saleroom level (wholesale, before commission). On that limited evidence, today a clean working example is worth somewhere in that vicinity, though a wider price range is likely once more results surface.
