What it is
{"overview":"The Chinon CE-3 Memotron is a 35mm single-lens reflex film camera produced by the Japanese maker Chinon. With just one record on file in 2026, what a CE-3 Memotron is worth today is best treated as indicative, and prices can swing materially with cosmetic condition and whether a working lens is included.","buying_guide":"On any older electronically-controlled SLR of this era, check that the meter responds, that the shutter fires accurately at all marked speeds, and that the battery compartment is free of corrosion. Inspect the light seals around the film door and mirror bumper for the usual perished foam, and confirm the focusing screen and prism are clear of fungus or separation.

Questions
Is the Chinon CE-3 Memotron a collectible camera?
It is a user-grade 35mm SLR rather than a sought-after collector's piece, so its value tends to track condition and working order rather than rarity.
