A 42 mm by 1 mm screw thread for single-lens reflex lenses. It came from East Germany around 1949 (Contax S, Praktica) and was used by Praktica, Asahi Pentax (up to the Spotmatic series), Zenit, Fujica ST, Yashica, Mamiya and many others into the late 1970s. Flange distance 45.46 mm.
