What it is
The Foth Rollfilm (Folding) Luxus is a folding rollfilm camera produced by the German maker Foth, a Berlin-based manufacturer active in the early 20th century. It sits in the compact folding category aimed at amateur photographers of its era.
On any folding rollfilm camera of this age, inspect the bellows for pinholes by checking in a dark room with a torch, and confirm the shutter fires at all marked speeds without sticking. Check the lens for haze, separation, and fungus, and verify that the folding struts lock rigidly and the film transport advances smoothly. Service support for obscure pre-war German folders is limited, so budget for independent repair if the shutter needs attention.

Questions
Is the Foth Rollfilm (Folding) Luxus a collectible camera?
It appeals mainly to collectors of pre-war German folding cameras rather than users, and its value is driven primarily by condition, completeness, and the working state of the shutter and bellows.
