What it is

Lens mount
Fujifilm X mount

The Fujifilm X-T2 is an APS-C mirrorless camera introduced in 2016, styled around a traditional SLR-shaped body with dedicated shutter-speed and ISO dials. It sat at the top of Fujifilm's X-series enthusiast line when new, aimed at stills photographers wanting manual controls alongside 4K video.

Inspect the rear LCD hinge and the three-way tilting mechanism, as these can loosen with heavy use, and check the SD card door and the exposure-compensation dial for play. Confirm all four control dials click positively, test both card slots, and look for wear on the rubber grip and viewfinder eyecup, both of which are common replacement items.

Questions

Is the Fujifilm X-T2 still a good buy in 2026?

At current used price levels it remains a capable 24MP APS-C body with weather sealing and dual card slots, and the X-mount lens system is still in active production, which helps long-term usability.
