What it is
{"overview":"The Goldmann Reisekamera is an 18x24 large-format wooden field camera, a folding plate-camera type intended for travel and outdoor use on a tripod. As with most 18x24 wooden field cameras, value at auction is highly condition-sensitive, with bellows integrity, woodwork and the presence of original plate holders driving what an example sells for.","buying_guide":"Inspect the bellows for pinholes and corner wear, check the wooden body and ground-glass back for cracks or warping, and confirm the rise, fall and swing movements still lock cleanly.

Questions
Is the Goldmann Reisekamera a usable camera?
It is an 18x24cm plate field camera, so it can still be used with sheet film or glass plates provided the bellows are light-tight and suitable holders are available.
