Jupiter Tochka S-252 (Spy Camera)
The Jupiter Tochka S-252 is a Soviet-era subminiature camera built for covert use. It is a specialist spy-camera rarity rather than a general-purpose stills camera, and it surfaces on the UK collector market only occasionally.
At recent UK auction, hammer prices for the Tochka S-252 have ranged from roughly £800 to £2,200, with a median around £1,650 based on four recorded results. Today the stronger results cluster at the upper end: the last two sales in 2024 and 2025 both cleared £2,000, suggesting the model is worth more now than it sold for five years ago. These are wholesale saleroom figures, so what a Tochka S-252 sells for privately or through a specialist dealer may be higher.
Sales History
Prices shown are UK auction hammer results — the wholesale level achieved in the saleroom. Neither buyer’s nor seller’s commission is included. Dealer and retail asking prices are typically higher.
