Murer & Duroni Murer (strut-folding, 4.5x6)

{"overview":"The Murer (strut-folding, 4.5x6) is a small-format strut-folding plate camera producing 4.5x6 cm exposures, built by the Italian maker Murer & Duroni. As a wholesale auction figure (excluding buyer's and seller's commission), that price suggests the camera sells for modest sums when it does appear, though a single sale is not enough to establish a reliable value.","buying_guide":"Strut folders of this era commonly suffer from cracked or detached leather bellows, corroded struts, sticky shutter blades and missing plate holders, all of which should be checked before purchase. Spares and professional servicing for Murer & Duroni cameras are not readily available, so condition on arrival largely determines usability.","specs":"Format: 4.5x6 cm exposures on plates; body type: strut-folding.
