Nikon COOLPIX SQ

The Nikon Coolpix SQ is a compact digital camera from Nikon's early-2000s Coolpix line, distinguished by a swivel body that lets the lens section rotate independently of the screen. It was positioned as a style-led point-and-shoot rather than an enthusiast model.

Inspect the rotating hinge for play or stiffness, as wear here is the most common fault and is awkward to repair. Check the LCD for dead pixels or bleed, confirm the lens extends and focuses without error messages, and budget for a replacement battery since original cells are often tired. Nikon no longer services this model, so spares come from donor bodies.
