What it is

{"overview":"The Stöckig Union 27 is a German-made plate camera dating from the early twentieth century. With two shutters fitted, both mechanisms should be tested across all speeds for sticking, capping, and consistent timing, since servicing parts for obscure German plate-camera shutters are effectively unobtainable and any repair will be bespoke.

Questions

Why does the two-shutter version matter for value?

The dual-shutter configuration is a less common variant, and collectors evaluating the price will look closely at whether both shutters are present and functional, since a missing or seized shutter materially reduces what the camera is worth.
