What it is
The Verax Gloria is a German-made medium-format camera produced by Unger & Hoffman. It was offered as a folding-style enthusiast camera and is encountered today only as a collector item rather than a working tool.
Inspect bellows for pinholes, check that the shutter fires at all marked speeds without sticking, and confirm the rangefinder or viewfinder optics are free of separation and haze. Parts and factory service are unavailable, so condition of the original mechanics and absence of corrosion on bright-work are the principal value drivers.
