Wirgin Edixa Mat Reflex Mod. S

{"overview":"The Wirgin Edixa Mat Reflex Mod. S is a 35mm SLR camera produced in West Germany. With so few comparables, current value at saleroom level is best treated as approximate, and condition, working shutter and a clean focusing screen will materially affect what the camera sells for.","buying_guide":"Check the cloth focal-plane shutter for pinholes, capping and accurate slow speeds, as these are the most common faults on Edixa bodies of this era. Inspect the prism and viewfinder for desilvering and fungus, confirm the film advance and rewind operate smoothly, and verify the M42 lens mount threads are clean and undamaged. Factory service is no longer available, so budget for independent repair if the shutter needs attention.","specs":"35mm SLR with an M42 screw lens mount and a cloth focal-plane shutter; further specifications are not established from the supplied data.","faq":[{"q":"What is a Wirgin Edixa Mat Reflex Mod. S worth today?","a":"Based on the only verified UK auction record, an Edixa Mat Reflex Mod.
