Asahi Pentax Super Takumar 55mm f2 Lens Lovely condition with clear optics

No fungus or scratches. Focus and apertures are working.

I'm having a sort out selling some lenses that are duplicates or rarely used. The barrel is in reasonable condition with only age appropriate wear from over the past 40+ years of use. Beyond the cosmetics the glass is clean, fungus and haze free though with some internal dust as would be expected in a lens of this age. The focus ring movement is buttery smooth throughout it's span. The aperture is precise with definite clicks. The iris is fast moving with no lag the aperture blades are clean and oil free. Comes with pattern front and rear lens caps. All functions have been checked on my Asahi Spotmatic / Pentax K70 Sony NEX

SMC Takumar 55mm f/2 - M42 mount - excellent condition. SMC Takumar 55mm f/2. The focusing action is exceptionally smooth, comparable to a freshly serviced lens. The f/2 version is optically identical to the well-known Takumar 55mm f/1.8 variant.

M42 screw thread fit. Note - The pin looks like it’s constantly sticking out at the back, so it only works in manual mode and the blades still move throughout the range fine. However, there is also a bit of slack in the lens body, so when you focus, the aperture will move a half stop / stop when you’re focusing etc.
