Asahi Pentax Super Multi Coated Takumar 85mm f1.8 with caps is in good condition. I purchased this lens from Japan several years ago and was told it had been cleaned and treated for a fungus issue. The glass apparently has some etching or residue from the fungus problem but it has not seemed to have any impact on my photos. Everything seems to work well otherwise. I have used the lens on film bodies and even adapted to modern digital cameras. The sample photos are nothing special as I just took a couple shots for the listing with my Sony a9.

POOR CONDITION, WEAR ON BARREL. OPTICS HAVE SLIGHT GROWTH, BUT HAVE NOT BEEN OPTICALLY TESTED. SMOOTH FOCUSING AND SNAPPY IRIS, WHICH IS AFFECTED BY FOCUSING. M42 MOUNT.

Overall good condition. Aperture snaps down to all stops and focus is smooth. Slight marking to rear element. Unsure if it just needs a good clean or some costing has deteriorated. Also some slight cloudiness to the extreme edges of the inner of the lens that was difficult to capture on camera. Neither of these have affected image quality in my experience but for the reasons above it is being sold as-is.
