What it is
{"overview":"The Asahi Pentax A3 Date S is a 35mm SLR with a date-imprint function, sold under Pentax's A-series line. At saleroom level this places it in the budget tier of 35mm SLRs, where wholesale hammer prices exclude both buyer's and seller's commission and clean, working examples typically command the upper end of whatever range emerges.","buying_guide":"Inspect the date-back battery compartment for corrosion, confirm the date imprint fires and advances correctly, and check shutter speeds and meter response across the range.

Questions
Is the Pentax A3 Date S a good buy?
For a user-grade 35mm SLR with date-imprint capability the price point is low, but verify the electronics, meter and date function before buying as service options are limited.
