Asahi Pentax Asahiflex la

{"overview":"The Asahiflex Ia is a 35mm single-lens reflex camera made by Asahi Optical Company of Japan in the early 1950s, from the product line that predates the Pentax name. As of 2026 the market is thin and condition-led: clean, functional bodies sell for noticeably more than cosmetically tired ones, and the price an example sells for depends heavily on shutter health and completeness.","buying_guide":"Given the age of the camera, inspect the cloth shutter across the full speed range for pinholes, tapering or capping, and check the viewfinder optics for haze, separation and fungus.
