What it is
With only one data point at saleroom level, today's value cannot be reliably stated as a range, and condition along with working order will materially affect what any individual example sells for.","buying_guide":"On any vintage 8mm cine camera of this era, inspect the spring motor for smooth running at all marked speeds, check the lens for haze, fungus and clean aperture blades, and verify the viewfinder optics are clear.

Questions
Is the Bolex B8 a good buy?
It can be of interest to 8mm cine collectors, but because pricing data is thin, buyers should focus on mechanical condition and lens clarity rather than relying on a published market value.
