What it is
{"overview":"The Deardorff 4x5\" cameras are large-format wooden field cameras taking 4x5 inch sheet film. As of 2026, what a Deardorff 4x5 sells for at saleroom level depends heavily on the bellows condition, completeness of the back, and whether original lens boards are included; clean, working examples sit at the upper end of that range.","buying_guide":"Inspect the bellows for pinholes and corner splits, since replacements are costly, and check the wood for shrinkage cracks around the standards and bed.
