What it is
{"overview":"The Kiev 645 DVD Technik is a prototype medium-format camera in the 645 (6×4.5cm) film format. Today, in 2026, prototype Kiev medium-format bodies remain thinly traded, so what a 645 DVD Technik is worth or sells for at auction depends heavily on the specific buyer in the room rather than an established market band.","buying_guide":"Because this is a prototype, buyers should treat any example as a one-off: confirm provenance, check that all mechanical functions cycle, and inspect for non-standard parts that may not have factory replacements.

Questions
Is the Kiev 645 DVD Technik a production camera?
No — it is a prototype, so examples are rare and trade on collector interest rather than as a regular used-camera purchase.
