Linhof Technika IV

{"overview":"The Linhof Technika IV is a German-made 4x5 large format folding field camera, introduced in the mid-1950s as part of Linhof's Master Technika lineage. Values in the auction market are highly condition-sensitive: examples with a working rangefinder, matched cams, original lensboards and a clean bellows tend to sell for materially more than body-only lots, so a buyer asking what a Technika IV is worth should weigh completeness heavily.","buying_guide":"Inspect the leather bellows for pinholes by shining a torch inside in a dark room, and check the rise, shift and tilt movements for smooth, lock-tight operation. The coupled rangefinder, when fitted, must be matched by cam to the specific lens in use; mismatched or missing cams reduce usability.
