What it is
{"overview":"The Nikon S2-E is a rangefinder camera produced by Nikon, here in a black paint finish. With only one data point on record, today's value for any individual example will depend heavily on condition, provenance and originality of the black paint, and recent comparable hammer prices would be needed to confirm where the model sells for now.

Questions
Why is the black paint version so much more valuable?
Black paint Nikon rangefinders were produced in very limited numbers compared with chrome bodies, and original-finish examples command a substantial premium over standard versions.
