What it is
{"overview":"The Nikon S4 is a 35mm rangefinder camera from Nikon's S-series, produced in the 1950s. Inspect the shutter curtains for pinholes, confirm rangefinder alignment, and verify the top-plate engravings and paint loss look consistent with age rather than a recent refinish.

Questions
Why does the black S4 price so much higher than a chrome S-series body?
Black-finish Nikon rangefinders were produced in very small numbers, so collector demand pushes their value well above standard chrome examples of comparable mechanical condition.
