Olympus Mju II
The Olympus Mju II is a 35mm compact film camera introduced in 1997, also sold as the Stylus Epic in North America. It features a fixed prime lens, a clamshell sliding cover, and a weather-resistant body, and was positioned as a premium pocket-sized point-and-shoot.
At recent UK auction, hammer prices for the Mju II have ranged roughly £100–£300, with a median close to £160 and most clean working examples clustering in the £150–£190 band. Demand from film shooters has kept values firm through 2026, and condition is the dominant variable — cameras with a working flash, clean lens and intact rear door fetch the upper end, while examples with light leaks or LCD faults sell for noticeably less.
