Olympus Mju
The Olympus Mju (marketed as Stylus in North America) is a series of 35mm compact film cameras introduced by Olympus in the early 1990s. The line spans the original fixed-lens Mju with its clamshell cover through a large family of zoom variants, positioned as premium pocketable point-and-shoots for everyday 35mm photography.
At recent UK auction, hammer prices for Olympus Mju cameras have ranged from about £25 to £260, with a median close to £50 — figures that reflect wholesale saleroom levels rather than retail. As of today in 2026, the bulk of results cluster in the £30–£70 band for common zoom variants, while clean original Mju (Stylus) bodies and desirable Zoom Wide or Panorama versions are what push the upper end and explain why individual examples occasionally sell for well over £180.
