Olympus OM-2 MD
The Olympus OM-2 MD is a 35mm single-lens reflex camera that uses the Olympus OM bayonet mount and was introduced in the mid-1970s as part of the compact OM system designed by Yoshihisa Maitani. The MD designation indicates the body is prepared for Olympus motor drive coupling, and when new it sat in the enthusiast tier with aperture-priority automatic exposure alongside manual control.
At recent UK auction, hammer prices for the OM-2 MD have landed in a £45–£94 band across the last two years, with a median around £65 — these are saleroom wholesale results rather than dealer retail.
