Pignons Alpa 11si gold

{"overview":"The Alpa 11si is a 35mm single-lens reflex camera made by the Swiss manufacturer Pignons SA of Ballaigues. These are saleroom hammer prices, so what a body sells for today depends heavily on completeness of the gold trim, presentation box and any matching lens — clean, fully boxed examples have historically pulled the upper end of that range, while plain bodies anchor the lower end.","buying_guide":"Inspect the gold plating on the top and bottom plates for wear, brassing and scratches, as cosmetic condition is the primary value driver on a collector variant. Check that the shutter fires cleanly at all speeds and that the meter responds, since Pignons service support is effectively unavailable and specialist repair in the UK is limited.
