Rollei Rolleiflex New Standard

{"overview":"The Rolleiflex New Standard is a medium-format twin-lens reflex camera made by Franke & Heidecke of Germany, producing 6x6cm negatives on 120 roll film. As of 2026, value is highly condition-sensitive: examples with clean taking lenses, functioning shutters and intact leatherette sell for more, while those needing service tend to fetch toward the lower end of what this model is worth today.","buying_guide":"Given the model's age, inspect the Compur shutter for sluggish slow speeds, check the taking and viewing lenses for haze, fungus and separation, and confirm the film transport and frame counter operate correctly. The focusing screen is often dim by modern standards, and leatherette lifting or shrinkage is common. Specialist TLR repairers in the UK and Germany still service pre-war Rolleiflex bodies, but parts are sourced mainly from donor cameras.","specs":"A 6x6 twin-lens reflex for 120 roll film, with separate viewing and taking lenses and a waist-level reflex finder.
