What it is
{"overview":"The Bolex P3 Zoom Reflex is an 8mm cine camera, part of Bolex's amateur movie line introduced in the late 1950s. With only one record, today's price guidance is indicative rather than firm, and condition and working order will heavily influence what a Bolex P3 is worth at saleroom level.","buying_guide":"As with most vintage 8mm cine cameras, inspect the spring-wound mechanism for smooth running across all speeds, check the zoom and focus rings for free movement, and look for haze or fungus in the optics.

Questions
Is the Bolex P3 Zoom Reflex a good buy?
It can be a low-cost entry into 8mm cine if the mechanism runs cleanly, but factor in that 8mm film stock and processing costs now far exceed the camera's value.
