What it is
{"overview":"The Canon EOS 500 N is a 35mm autofocus film SLR, sold in North America as the EOS Rebel G and in Japan as the EOS New Kiss. Buyers researching the price should treat that figure as indicative only and watch for further auction comparables before judging market value.","buying_guide":"Common issues on entry-level EOS film SLRs of this era include sticky shutter blades, failed light seals, and electronic faults that are not economic to repair given the low resale value. Inspect the shutter at all speeds, check the LCD for bleed, and confirm the autofocus drive runs smoothly.
