Fujifilm GA 645

The Fujifilm GA 645 is a medium-format autofocus rangefinder-style camera shooting 6x4.5cm frames on 120 and 220 roll film. Introduced in the mid-1990s, it was positioned as a compact, electronically controlled medium-format option aimed at photographers wanting autofocus and program exposure in a format larger than 35mm.

When inspecting a GA 645, check that the autofocus locks reliably, the LCD information panel is fully legible without missing segments, and the leaf shutter fires cleanly at all speeds. Confirm the film advance and frame counter operate correctly on both 120 and 220, and that the built-in flash and metering respond as expected; electronic faults on this generation of Fuji medium-format cameras are often uneconomic to repair given limited parts availability.
