Ihagee Night-Exakta

The Night-Exakta is an Ihagee-built small-format single-lens reflex camera, part of the pre-war Exakta line introduced in the 1930s and positioned as a specialist model fitted with a fast lens intended for low-light work.

At recent UK auction, hammer prices for the Night-Exakta have ranged from about £960 to £1,600, with a median around £1,360 — and the most recent result in 2025 sold for £1,512, showing the model still commands four-figure money today. Condition and the presence of the original fast lens strongly influence what each example is worth at saleroom level, and clean, complete outfits sell for noticeably more than tired bodies.
