Mamiya C3
The Mamiya C3 is a medium-format twin-lens reflex (TLR) camera using 120 roll film in the 6x6cm format. It belongs to Mamiya's interchangeable-lens C-series TLRs, a line aimed at professional and advanced amateur users who wanted the viewing style of a TLR with the lens flexibility more commonly associated with SLRs. The C3 uses bellows focusing, allowing close working distances unusual for a TLR.
At recent UK auction, hammer prices for the Mamiya C3 have ranged from around £40 to £230, with a typical body-only result clustering near £110–£120. As of 2026, clean examples offered with a working 80mm Sekor taking lens still sell for around £120–£160 at saleroom level, while rough or untested bodies can fetch well under £100. Because these figures are wholesale auction results rather than retail, dealer asking prices for serviced examples are usually higher than what the C3 is worth at the hammer.
