Mamiya RB67 Professional S

The Mamiya RB67 Professional S is a 6×7 medium format SLR introduced in 1974 as the second generation of the RB67 system. It is a modular, bellows-focusing studio camera with a rotating film back and leaf-shuttered Sekor lenses, positioned when new as a professional tool for portrait, wedding and commercial work.

At recent UK auction, hammer prices for RB67 Professional S bodies and kits have ranged from around £120 to £600, with a median near £340. Results are strongly condition- and configuration-sensitive: bare bodies with worn backs sit at the lower end of the range, while complete outfits with a clean 90mm Sekor, prism or waist-level finder, and a working 120 back fetch the upper figures in the saleroom.
