What it is
{"overview":"The Sinar F2 is a 4x5 large format monorail view camera intended for studio and field work, with full movements (rise, fall, shift, swing, tilt) on both standards. Because hammer prices exclude buyer's premium and depend heavily on what is included — bellows condition, presence of a lens board, and any extra format backs — the price a complete outfit sells for at auction can vary materially from a bare body.","buying_guide":"Inspect the bellows for pinholes by shining a torch inside in a dark room, check that the rail clamp and standards lock firmly without play, and confirm the ground glass is intact and correctly seated.

Questions
Is the Sinar F2 a good large format camera to buy?
It is a 4x5 monorail with a full set of movements and shares parts with the wider Sinar system, which makes servicing and upgrading straightforward provided the bellows and standards are sound on the example you inspect.
