What it is
{"overview":"The Rollei Magic II is a 6x6 medium-format twin-lens reflex camera using 120 roll film. As of 2026, what a Magic II is worth today depends heavily on cosmetic condition and whether the shutter and meter are working; clean, functional examples sit toward the upper end of that range.","buying_guide":"Inspect the leaf shutter for sticky slow speeds, the selenium meter cell for responsiveness (these degrade with age and light exposure), and the taking lens for haze, fungus and separation.

Questions
Is the Rollei Magic II a good buyer's TLR?
It is a cheaper entry into the Rollei TLR family than a Rolleiflex, but its simplified controls and ageing selenium meter mean most buyers looking for a working everyday TLR pay a small premium for a serviced example rather than the lowest-price auction lot.
