Coronet Midget blue

The Coronet Midget is a small Bakelite subminiature camera made in Birmingham, England, produced from the mid-1930s. The blue finish is one of several coloured body variants offered alongside black, red, green, and brown, and the camera was sold as an inexpensive novelty using 16mm roll film.

At UK auction the Coronet Midget in blue is a collector-driven item rather than a user camera, with hammer prices (wholesale saleroom results, not retail) in the recorded range of roughly £160 to £340 and a midpoint around £250. Coloured Bakelite variants such as blue tend to sell for more than the common black version today, and condition of the Bakelite shell is the single biggest factor in what the camera is worth.
