Foitzik Foica
The Foitzik Foica is a 35mm rangefinder camera produced in West Germany in the early 1950s. It was a small-volume product from a minor postwar maker, sold into a market dominated by Leica and Zeiss Ikon, and survives today mainly as a collector item rather than a user camera.
Sales evidence for the Foica is thin: the only recorded UK auction hammer result on file is a single 2018 sale at £3,800, so any quoted value is illustrative rather than a settled market. On that basis the camera sells for a four-figure sum at saleroom level when it appears, but with one data point the price a clean example is worth today in 2026 could move significantly in either direction depending on condition and completeness.
Sales History
Prices shown are UK auction hammer results — the wholesale level achieved in the saleroom. Neither buyer’s nor seller’s commission is included. Dealer and retail asking prices are typically higher.
