Nagel Rolloroy
The Nagel Rolloroy is a vintage camera produced by the Stuttgart-based Dr. August Nagel Camerawerk, a German manufacturer active in the late 1920s and early 1930s before being absorbed by Kodak in 1932. As a pre-war Nagel-branded model, it sits in the early-20th-century German folding/roll-film camera category that collectors of the period seek out.
At UK auction, hammer prices for the Nagel Rolloroy have ranged widely: a 2024 sale at Chiswick Auctions realised £189, while an earlier 2011 result at Leitz Photographica reached £600, giving a saleroom median of around £390. With only two recorded results, today's value is condition- and venue-sensitive, and a clean, complete example with original fittings is what drives the upper end of the range when one sells for a strong price.

Prices shown are UK auction hammer results — the wholesale level achieved in the saleroom. Neither buyer’s nor seller’s commission is included. Dealer and retail asking prices are typically higher.
