This is the second version of this very rare 2000mm Nikkor lens, the largest ever built Nikkor for 35mm. This impressive lens was shown at Photokina 1970 for the first time. The second version with improved coating came on the market in 1975 —only very few of these lenses were made to special order. The offered example shows the wear of years of professional use, the filter knob and the focus scale are missing. Still, the focus is working and the lens is still usable.
