Fujifilm Fujica GL 690
The Fujica GL690 is a Japanese medium-format rangefinder introduced by Fuji in 1968, using 120/220 roll film to produce 6x9cm negatives. It was aimed at professional users who wanted the image quality of a large negative in a handheld, interchangeable-lens rangefinder body.
At recent UK auction, hammer prices for the Fujica GL690 body have sat between roughly £160 and £270, with the two tracked 2025 sales producing a midpoint near £220. Today in 2026 the value at saleroom level remains condition-sensitive: cosmetically clean, fully working examples sell for more, and what the camera is worth depends heavily on whether a matching lens is included, since the body alone is of limited use without glass.
Sales History
Prices shown are UK auction hammer results — the wholesale level achieved in the saleroom. Neither buyer’s nor seller’s commission is included. Dealer and retail asking prices are typically higher.
