The Asahi Pentax 35mm f/2 Super-Takumar is a fast wide-angle prime in the M42 screw-mount Takumar family, aimed at reportage and general-purpose shooting on Pentax Spotmatic-era SLRs. As one of the quicker 35mm primes of its day, it was intended for low-light and available-light work where the more common f/3.5 Takumars fell short.
