Mamiya 645 Pro
The Mamiya 645 Pro is a medium format SLR for 6x4.5cm roll film, introduced in 1985 as part of Mamiya's modular 645 system. When new it was positioned as a professional studio and location camera with interchangeable backs, finders and screens.
At UK auction in 2024 the 645 Pro hammered at £320 and £360, giving a tight £320–£360 hammer range with a midpoint around £340 — wholesale saleroom levels rather than retail dealer prices. As of 2026 the model still sells for working-camera money, with what a clean kit is worth depending heavily on which prism, back and lens are included.

Frequently asked questions
What is a Mamiya 645 Pro worth today?
Recent UK auction hammer prices sit in the £320–£360 range, so a typical body-and-finder lot is worth a few hundred pounds at saleroom level before commission, with complete outfits including a lens able to push higher.
How much does a Mamiya 645 Pro sell for at UK auction?
The two 2024 hammer results on record sold for £320 and £360, indicating the price for a standard configuration currently clusters around the mid-£300s.
Does condition affect the value of a 645 Pro?
Yes — working electronics, clean optics on any included prism, and a functioning film back materially affect what the camera sells for, since service parts are no longer made by Mamiya.
