The Model K8 Type 2 is a later production variant, positioned as a more affordable TLR beneath the flagship Rolleiflex 2.8 and 3.5 F models while retaining the Rollei roll-film format and waist-level reflex viewing.

At recent UK auction, hammer prices for the Rolleiflex T Model K8 Type 2 have sat in the £200–£290 range, with the two recorded sales giving a median close to £240. As of today in 2026 the camera's value is tightly bound to cosmetic and mechanical condition — working shutters, clean taking lenses and intact leatherette lift prices toward the upper end of that saleroom band, while tired examples sell for less.
